All of This Belongs to You

V&A London: April - July 2015

This exhibition, curated by the Design, Architecture and Digital department at the V&A, comprised of a series of installations, displays and curatorial trails alongside an extensive events programme. It sought to bring new ways of thinking about the role of public institutions in contemporary life and what it means to be responsible for a national collection.

Major installations were commissioned from artists and designers including muf architecture/art, James Bridle, Jorge Otero-Pailos and Natalie Jeremijenko. As Assistant Curator I led on the Civic Objects strand of the project, adding unexpected objects to existing displays or contributing reconsidered interpretations to objects in situ among the 11 miles of the V&A’s galleries, raising debate about the role objects play in organising our public and private lives.
